⌀ Void-of-course Moon

The stretch after the Moon makes its last aspect in a sign and before it enters the next one. Traditionally a poor time to start something that is meant to go somewhere. The Moon is still moving and still in a sign; what it has run out of is contacts, so nothing it might have carried forward is being made.

In transits

A void Moon makes no aspects by definition, so it is the one window with no lunar contact to read. Judgements made in it are said not to stick — the classical advice is to let it pass rather than to act inside it.

Example in a combination

A void-of-course Moon over a launch window is the classical argument for moving the launch by an hour.
